The nose is intense and captivating, layered with dark cherry, blackberry, and plum, accented by forest floor, dried herbs, and a subtle earthiness. On the palate, dried cranberry, strawberry preserves, and pipe tobacco weave seamlessly with cocoa and savory spice, leading to a long, elegant finish.

Crafted with 15% whole-cluster fermentation and aged in 50% new François Frères tight-grain French oak, The Love is native fermented, unfiltered, and unfined. Limited to 275 cases.

The Love is a Pinot Noir of quiet power and profound elegance.

TASTING NOTES:

APPEARANCE: A medium ruby-garnet, alluring depth, and remarkable clarity. It holds a youthful, brilliant hue that gracefully develops a red brick rim with age.

AROMAS: Pure red fruits, wild strawberry, black cherry. Perfectly balanced floral notes of dried rose pedals and violet of dark chocolate. Translucent ruby with a delicate rose rim; beautiful, dried rose petals, white sage and hints of new oak.

PALATE: Soft but intensely flavored; A remarkable power combined with weightless elegance. Velvety, silky and sensual. balanced acidity with concentrated dried black and red fruit flavors. Underscored with silky tannins.

FINISH: Long dark raspberry and spice aromatics with a lingering floral note.

VARIETAL: 100% Pinot Noir

CLONE; 40% Pommard · 60% Dijon

SOIL: Ancient soils of marine sedimentary origin — primarily Goldridge sandy loam, Josephine and Hugo series clay loams, and fractured sandstone and shale Exceptionally well-drained, low in nutrients, and heavily influenced by coastal wind and fog, creating the kind of chronic vine stress that produces small-clustered, thick-skinned grapes of remarkable concentration and acidity.

APPELLATION: Russian River Valley, Sonoma County.
